Affiliated Organizations

NWBOC enjoys the cooperation and collaboration from many other non-profit organizations. This is a partial list of our most active collaborative partners.

National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO)
National Association of Women Business Owners® (NAWBO®) is the only dues-based national organization representing the interests of all women business owners across all industries. Women In Trucking (WIT)
In the past year, Women In Trucking has seen a drastic increase in calls from shippers and logistics companies who are looking for suppliers to meet their diversity goals. Some of these companies have diversity requirements imposed on them from the government, others implement their own diversity requirements because they want to be socially responsible. Regardless of the reason for pursuing a more diverse supplier base, shippers are searching for women, minorities and disadvantaged businesses to provide their transportation needs. Because of this, the Women In Trucking Association is working to match certified WBE's (Women Business Enterprises) with shippers and logistics companies who value a diverse supplier network.Women In Trucking will be working with NWBOC to help identify and certify their members as WBEs. Likewise, we strongly encourage all of our certified WBEs in the trucking industry to become a member of Women In Trucking so that they can take advantage of this great
opportunity to gain shipping and logistics contracts.

Women Construction Owners and Executives (WCOE)
